old fart tosser and tosser
Following an invite by The Firm magazine to contribute to an editorial piece on the importance of branding, LEWIS decided to support this with a self promotion campaign in order to raise brand awareness and target the legal sector.
A fictitious law firm, Old Fart, Tosser and Tosser, was created by LEWIS with the intention of being a light hearted send up of the way in which law firms are typically perceived. LEWIS fabricated a recruitment drive for the firm and used a range of integrated platforms to encourage lawyers to respond to the adverts and recommend a colleague for the vacancy.
These platforms included print adverts, an online Flash animated banner and a bespoke microsite on the URL (www.oldfarttosserandtosser.co.uk). To underpin the LEWIS marketing drive, we designed a Flash overlay on the microsite to promote our services and drive traffic to the LEWIS site.
The campaign was launched in August to support the magazine’s issue date and the online banner was displayed on The Firm’s website for one month subsequent to launch. According to statistics, the Old Fart site continues to receive hits with around two thirds of the visitors clicking through to the LEWIS overlay.
