I was nine when I discovered the joy of Rubik's Cube.  My Dad got me one for my birthday.  I think that he got the cube so that he could play with it as well!  The Rubik's Cube is still really popular today having sold over 350 million.  It seems to have had a bit of a revival recently.  You can get all sorts of cubes and even customise your own.  I still have a Rubik's Cube on my desk at home.  Unfortunately, it's not my original one which got lost when we moved house but I still suspect my dad nicked it and hid it somewhere.
