my childhood icon
When I was about 15 years old, my uncle brought a digital camera back from his travels to Dubai. I thought it was amazing that you could view pictures there and then on its tiny screen. Since getting one of my own, the digital camera has been a really important part of my life. Being able to capture moments and know that the pictures are of good quality is so important. The good old ‘point and click' disposable cameras can't quite guarantee a perfect shot without a finger over the lens or blurring. I also love the digital camera because you can share shots with people on a bigger scale by hooking the camera up to a TV or sharing them through Facebook. My digital camera has travelled all over with me and I couldn't imagine not having it there capturing places and people in my life.
